KYC

1. What is KYC Compliant?
It is a requirement of all participating Members including Free Account holders to be "KYC" (Know Your Customer) compliance approved prior to purchasing any Swiss Gold Global collectibles or to be PAID.

You are required to submit the following:
    a. ONE government-issued identity document with your photograph. This can be a driver's license, national ID card, passport or military ID.

    You will be required to follow these steps:
      1) Complete the Form A as provided in platform
      2) You will receive an email with your completed document attached.
      3) Open the email, and then print, sign and scan this document.
      4) ALSO scan a government-issued identity document.
      5) Upload your scanned documents: you will receive an email showing you how to do this.

All information provided such as name and address, is EXACTLY THE SAME as the information on your government-issued identity.

2. Complete KYC application
In order to get approve you have do one more step: complete KYC (Know Your Customer) process.
This is a simple and easy process. You have to follow next steps:

  3. After completing and submitting the form, you will receive an email with the document (check your Spam folder). Please print, signed, scan/photo all the pages and send it to us. 

3. How do I send/ upload the documents?
In order to send the documents there are several options:
  1. In your Swiss Gold Global account - My Subscriptions menu - My Documents tab you can upload the documents
  2. You can email them to support@swissgoldglobal.com
  3. Please ensure that you have the latest browser version and clear your pc cache, login to your Swiss Gold Global account and access the link again.
Please use the most easy option for you!

4. What ID do you accept for the KYC application?
ONE government-issued identity document with your photograph.
This can be a driver's license, national ID card, passport or military ID.

    You will be required to follow these steps:
      1. Complete the Form A as provided in platform
      2. You will receive an email with your completed document attached.

      4. ALSO scan a government-issued identity document.

5. KYC application deny reason
1. Missing pages. Please send us all the pages of the Account Confirmation and Credit Card Authorization form.
Or at least the pages that have the signature.
2. Incorrect signatures. If the card owner is different than the account owner, please note that each of them has a different designated line and space to sign.
If the account owner is the same with the card owner, please make sure you use the same signature.
3. Documents have to be readable. Please make sure when you scan the documents or take a photo that the documents can be read.
4. ID valid. Please make sure the uploaded identity document has a valid expire date.
5. ID for second beneficial. If you add a second beneficial to your account please note that we will need an identity document for them.
6. Company documents. If you are registering the account on your company, please make sure to provide us the registration license and the document where the owners of the company are listed.

6. What is a second beneficial? What rights do he has?
You can add a second beneficial to your account that has the same rights as you. Main communication will stay with the primary beneficial, but a second beneficial has access to account and can place any order and apply any changes. The second beneficial owner can place a sell back order and ask for the funds to be sent to his/her account. For security reason we can add in this process the notification and/ approval of both parties (each time a sell back is placed - by any of the owners).

7. Do I need to add a company? What paperwork do you need for this?
To register the account on your company it’s an option you have, you do not have to add a company.
If you are registering the account on your company, please make sure to provide us the registration license and the document where the owners of the company are listed.

1. Where does the gold and silver come from and what price do I pay?
Since 2008 we have a proud association with Swiss refiner Argor – Heraeus Ag.

We have consciously and purposefully selected Argor – Heraeus Ag as our preferred choice in precious metal refining and Industry standards with our clean gold policy.

We buy our precious metals direct from Argor – Heraeus Ag at refinery London Bullion Market BUY price then add 2.97% margin to the price.

2. What is a production conversion fee?
We have designed a simple but fair gold and silver accumulation program for all people regardless of their physical location. As we are unable to physically securely ship precious metals to some Countries as the courier companies will NOT guarantee or insure the shipment the order process to physical metals is a two-step process. While this may add another step to the order process we believe the benefits in flexibility in liquidation and keeping costs to the minimum out way this. As an example a person in Nigeria will be able to diversify their income into Swiss gold and silver and have it stored in Dubai UAE or Switzerland. At any time they can request a sell back or convert to a physical product in the shopping cart for personal pick up in Dubai UAE or Zurich Switzerland or shipping to an approved address.

Step 1.
Buy Gold Silver - all Members buy their Swiss produced and certified Argor – Heraeus gold and silver at wholesale price of 2.97% above the market spot price. Example: $500 order, minus 2.97% $14.85, $485.15 in precious metal bullion will be added to your account. Credit card purchase fee (Bankwire NO fee charged) An additional 4% credit card fee is charged by the credit card merchant providers. As we only charge 2.97% above the LBMA refinery buy price, 1% is paid to Affiliates, the credit card order processing fees are paid by the user. Example: $500 order, minus 2.97% ($14.85) margin, minus 4% CC fee ($20) $34.85. $465.15 in precious metal bullion will be added to your account. 4% FEE IS NOT CHARGED WITH BANKWIRE ORDERS. NET FUNDS RECEIVED IN THE BANKWIRE ARE USED FOR THE PURCHASE LESS 2.97%

Step 2.
Select product for shipping - depending upon the amount of grams / ounces you have accumulated in your account will determine what products you can select for shipping. Example: If you have 5grams of gold and want to select 50gram bar it is not possible as you have insufficient physical metal purchased, however you could select smaller weight products or continue to accumulate sufficient grams / ounces to select your desired product for shipping.

You have already purchased the precious metal, conversion from bullion to a selected collectible or bar requires production costs. You will pay from $20 per unit for this production.

3. How can I maximize my order value?
To maximize the value of your order we advise people to convert to a larger weight.

Example: 1gram of gold price $40.00, conversion production price $20 this would put price over spot at 50%.

Example: If you accumulated sufficient grams to take delivery of larger weight you lower the margin over intrinsic value of the gold and silver. Gold price $40.00 gram, convert to 5gram ingot you have $200 in gold (intrinsic value) conversion production price $20 would put price over spot at 10%, significantly lower than a conversion to a 1gram ingot.

4. Do I pay Import Duty and Taxes on Gold and Silver?
There are many variables that determine if import duty and or taxes are payable upon the importation of precious metal.

In general silver will attract import duty and or taxes as it is classified as an industrial metal. Gold 999.9 Fineness personal investment may not. Import duty and taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. If you encounter import duty and or taxes we advise you to ask the customs agent for the specific regulation that determines the fees. On occasion we have experienced our Members being incorrectly charged VAT or taxes on gold. When the Customs Agent was questioned for the specific regulation they also discovered that there was zero duty on gold.

If you wish to first check if VAT or Taxes are charged you may contact your local FedEx Agent or Government authority and provide them with this information;
  - Personal investment gold and silver

  - Gold Harmonized shipping code: 7108.121 (Argor – Heraeus assayed gold 999.9 Fineness)
  - Silver Harmonized shipping code: 7118.10 (Argor – Heraeus assayed silver 999.0 Fineness)

We will issue a Commercial invoice specifying the above specifics. In the US and EU this has prevented people from having to pay import duty.

If your Swiss Gold Global 2.0 account is in a company or trust name, any duty or taxes will be claimable.

5. What is the Shipping price?
Shipping prices will vary depending upon the value, the weight, shipping destination and if there is additional insurance cover required.

Since 2008 we have acquired the services of Federal Express. Governmental Postal services will not ship or insure gold or silver. For the EU shipping prices start from approximately US$19 for shipments under 500gram and value less than $1000. For the US it ranges from US$25 to $35 under 500gram up to $70 for 2Kg.

For a more accurate estimation you may log into your back office and select product conversion. There you can enter the gold silver bullion you wish to convert and enter exact shipping address.

Federal Express rates change and will vary depending upon if the shipment is addressed to a major city or rural destination.

6. What if the FedEx shipment has been Tampered with?
If the FedEx or other Courier package is tampered with DO NOT sign for the delivery until you have confirmed the shipment contents are correct. Our London Bullion Market Association accredited fulfilment group pack all items under video surveillance. We cannot accept any responsibility if the package has been tampered and it is signed for prior to confirming contents.

If the package has been tampered with it is better NOT to accept the package, take a photo with your phone and note the delivery person’s details. State clearly you are not accepting the package as it has been tampered with.

Please notify us of this as soon as this occurs.

7. Sell Back
Liquidation is an Easy, Secure and Efficient process. Premium Members have Zero fees with their gold silver saver account sell back. Sell Back orders are placed by logging into your Swiss Gold Global 2.0 secure account. Go to your Saver Account Sell Back function and select the number of grams / ounces you would like to liquidate.

This is NOT a live trading platform for speculators. Depending upon your time of the sell order the sell back will be processed at the next Refinery London Bullion Market Association Sell price.
The sell price we receive from the refinery is what you will receive. Once funds are received from the sell back they are then forwarded to your approved account.

KYC compliant is essential to receive payment and buy gold and silver.

9. Where is my gold and silver stored?
You may choose to have your products shipped from the refiner to Loomis / Via Mat International, our vaulting company. Loomis / Via Mat is Switzerland's most respected precious metals storage and transportation companies, registered with the London Bullion Market Association chain of integrity.

This would appear to be an external banking payment error connected to the type of card you are using, and if the card and or account connected to it is authorized for international transactions.

We occasionally see this error and more so with Pre-Paid type cards from 3rd party issuers. We have found that the card holder needs to contact their card issuing bank and have it approved for International transactions.

We advise that you contact your bank and have the card approved for International transactions.

2. Add a second card?
Here are the steps on how to insert your new card: 1. Login you your Swiss Gold Global account 2. Go to My Subscriptions menu 3. Renew membership - place the order using the new card *after payment is process the recurring will automatically will be set **same happens for precious metals savers We would like to advise you to make sure your new card is approved for international transactions. According to Swiss Regulation each card that is used on our platform needs to fulfill the “Know Your Customer” (KYC) requirements. In order to complete this process, also under „My Subscriptions” menu select „Add a new card” and complete the information for your new card and send the form to us.

3. What is a gift certificate and how can I use it?
Here is how you can use Gift Certificate:
1. Log into your account Swiss Global Gold
2. Go to "My Business Center" - select "My Dashboard" - the "Gift Certificate"
3. Choose the type of gift certificates that you want to use it (for gold, silver, Membership, to sign someone etc.) add mail address to receive the code and then generate the code by pressing "Submit"

It is not enough to generate a gift certificate, you must use it.

To purchase precious metals:
1. Go to "My Precious Metals" - "Single order"
2. Fill in the details as in the Gift Certificate order
3. And choose gift certificates as payment method. You will have an empty box where you have to copy the code received by mail

4. How can I change my password?
Here are the details to change your password. Please follow next steps: 
1. Login in your Swiss Gold Global account with the credentials that we have emailed you
2. Go to „My Subscription” menu – „My Profile” tab
3. Scroll down and you will find „Reset Password” option 
4. Type and Re-type your new password and press „Request Key” button
5. Check your email (also spam folder) and you will receive a security code
6. Insert the security code in the „Security code” box and press „Update password”
It may seem a little bit complex, but please understand that dealing with precious metals imply a high security level.

6. Can’t access my account
There can be different reasons why your login fails:
1. You may need to clear cache and cookies. Most web browsers temporarily store a local copy of every page you visit. Clearing your cache deletes those files and makes room for new ones. Go to the "Cache" or "Temporary Internet Files" option on your browser (on Firefox, go to "Tools" and choose "Clear Private Data"; if you use Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" and choose "Internet Options"), and delete the files stored in your cache. If you are still having this error you also have to clear your cookies also. It may seem too technical but this are internet bugs, and our platform has a very high level of security and do not accept them. In order for you to do this you have to follow the same process for clearing cache and select also to clear cookies.

2. Please make sure if you copy/paste the username and password to make sure you do not have any space (at the beginning or at the end). Also we advise to use browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari etc. In order to offer you an exact solution of your situation please send us at support@swissgoldglobal.com a print screen with the error/message you get. Or If your account have been inactive for more than 2 consecutive months the system automatically deactivated. We can reactivated for you in order for you to be able to check your precious metals and renew your membership subscription. Please notify us at support@swissgoldglobal.com

7. I want to close my Swiss Gold Global account. What are the steps?
In order to deactivate your membership please follow next steps:
1. Login to your Swiss Gold Global account
2. Go to „My Subscriptions” menu – „Manage My Subscriptions” tab
3. Press „Deactivate Monthly Autoship” button

You can be inactive for a period of 12 consecutive months. At any time in this period, at your request, we can reactivate/restore your account.
After 12 months of inactivity the account will be deleted and you can sign in as a new member with a new account.

What does lifetime contract mean?
Lifetime contracts do not have a maturity date. As long as the contract is profitable (i.e. the payout covers the maintenance fee) you will continue to mine and be able to receive payouts.
